INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Sinesy S.r.l., in its capacity as Data Controller of your personal data (hereinafter “Controller”), issues this information notice to the Data Subject in compliance with European and Italian data protection laws.
The Controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), whom the Data Subject may contact at: dpo@sinesy.it
This notice supplements the website’s browsing policy, in order to explain to the User how the Controller will specifically process the data entered in this contact form. Please also review our
privacy policy.
Purposes and Legal Basis of Processing
The Controller processes personal data for several purposes:
-
to respond to requests submitted through this form, for example to obtain information about its products or services (including sending brochures, catalogs and/or other company information material), to receive a quote, etc. In this case, consent is not required because processing is necessary to respond to such requests;
-
to use the Data Subject’s contact details (email address, landline and mobile phone number, postal address) for marketing purposes, such as conducting opinion and satisfaction surveys, sending commercial communications containing information about its products or services, as well as promotions or invitations to events in which the Controller will participate. For this purpose, the Data Subject’s express consent is required and may be given or withdrawn even for only some of the aforementioned activities;
Data Retention Period
The Controller intends to process the data according to the following time frames:
-
if the Data Subject requests a quote, the data will be retained for 12 months from the date of submission; for other information requests, retention will last only as long as necessary to fulfill the request;
-
data provided to enable the Controller to send the above-described commercial communications will be retained for 24 months from the date consent was given, regardless of the channel used;
Nature of Data Provision and Consequences of Refusal
Providing data for the purposes described in point 1) is mandatory; refusal to provide such data, in whole or in part, may make it impossible for the Controller to achieve the aforementioned purposes. Providing data for the additional purposes is optional: if not provided, the Controller will not be able to carry out the corresponding activities but will still be entitled to process data for the purposes in point 1).
Categories of Recipients
The Controller will not disclose the data, but intends to communicate them to authorized internal figures according to their respective duties, as well as to companies providing commercial information, factoring, consulting services, to business associations and/or organizations, to professionals or service companies, and to public and private authorities in the event of inspections and audits.
Where such recipients act on behalf of the Controller, they will be appointed as Data Processors under a specific contract or other legal act.
Transfer of Data to a Third Country and/or an International Organization
Personal data will not be transferred to non-EU countries or to international organizations.
Rights of the Data Subject
The Data Subject has the right to request access to their personal data and to have them corrected if inaccurate, to have them deleted or restricted where applicable, to object to processing for legitimate interests pursued by the Controller, and to obtain portability of data provided by them if processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means. The Data Subject also has the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out up to the moment of withdrawal.
To exercise these rights, the Data Subject may use the form available
here
and send it to the Controller at privacy@sinesy.it. The Data Subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
